Pag-Ibig's Voluntary Savings Program Records High During Pandemic

The institution providing affordable housing loans, Pag-IBIG, said to its members that it was able to save a record-high ₱13.3 billion in its voluntary savings program last year.


The said government institution says that the savings collected were 11% higher than 2019's ₱12.01 billion, and was achieved despite the uncertainties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.


Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development Secretary Eduardo del Rosario said that despite the impact of the pandemic to our economy last year, the amount saved by our members from its MP2 Savings last year surpassed ₱13 billion.
