The Municipal Government of Taytay is aware of the calls of our people regarding the floods that we have encountered every time we face the typhoons that pass through our municipality

In the past, floodwaters in our town lasted for about three days, but now it only takes 30 minutes - 2 hours depending on the strength of the rain and the waterways in our canals, streams and rivers. It looks like a catch-basin of rainwater coming from our neighboring towns.

In collaboration with Municipality's Flood Control Group, Solid Waste Management, Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) and General Services Office (GSO), we continue to organize the measures to immediately drain the floodwaters in flood prone areas of our town.

Because of this, we will announce to the Taytayeños our next long-term project to be part of our plan in response to the floods experienced in our municipality

Below is our plan that has been thoroughly studied by our Municipal Engineering Office:

We would like to remind everyone that we have a big participation in our pro-active household waste management so that the waste that clogs our main flood waterways can be eliminated.
