Taytay Strengthens Governance Through RPIS Integration

The Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF) has selected the Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal as one of the Prototype Local Government Units (LGUs) for the Local Governance Reform Project (LGRP).
As part of this initiative, an Onsite System Integration Testing for the Real Property Information System (RPIS) to LGU - Taytay, Rizal was conducted last February 19-20, 2026. This activity aligns with the implementation of the Republic Act (R.A.) No. 12001 known as 'Real Property Valuation and Assessment Reform Act (RPVARA)', that aims to promote fiscal autonomy by enhancing the local government units (LGUs) capacity to generate revenue from real property and foster transparency and innovation through the provision of a comprehensive and up-to-date electronic database of all real property transactions.
The two‑day activity was attended and participated by Municipal Assessor's Head Ms. Concepcion Viray, REA, Municipal Administrator Atty. Aldrick Daven Mendoza, MPA, Acting Municipal Treasurer Ms. Rose Isidro, Ms. Maria Fenina Gil, CPA, MPA of the Accounting and Internal Audit Services, and Mr. Marion De Leon, MCP of the Management Information System Services (M.I.S.S) Office. Hon. Allan Martine De Leon, MPA alongside with Vice Mayor Jan Victor Cabitac were also present during the BLGF's visit to our municipality.

Their involvement underscores the LGU’s unified effort to ensure that the new system is tested, understood, and integrated into local operations.
The activity was facilitated by ePLDT and Amellar Solutions Inc., two leading technology partners supporting the national government in its digital transformation initiatives.
