On June 4, 2026, Taytay, Rizal marked a significant milestone with the launch of the “Made in Taytay” App, a digital platform designed to empower local micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The roadmap presentation and exploratory planning session was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) - Rizal, the Local Government Unit of Taytay, Rizal and industry leaders.
The app aims to provide MSMEs with a seamless way to sell their products online, helping Taytay’s renowned garment industry expand its reach beyond local markets and into national and global arenas.

The initiative received strong support from Undersecretary Mary Jean Pacheco of the DTI - Supply Chain and Logistics Group (SCLG). Her leadership is instrumental in addressing the logistical challenges of our local makers—helping to streamline operations, reduce fulfillment bottlenecks, and modernize how our garments move from the workshop to the customer. This ensures that Taytay’s enterprises can compete effectively in the digital marketplace.
The “Made in Taytay” App is more than just a digital tool—it represents a vision of resilience, modernization, and opportunity for Rizal’s MSMEs
