Lots Selled On Social Media Warned
Base on an article published at tribune.net.ph, Honorable George Ricardo Gacula II, Mayor for Taytay, Rizal municipality, warns his constituents against the scammers on social media who sell properties along C-6 Road.
He says that parcels of the land along the Laguna de Bay shoreline are owned by the government and private landowners.
On a phone interview conducted by the Daily Tribune, honorable mayor says that if the seller doesn’t have a clearance, have it verified first with the municipal assessor. Don’t immediately trust. Adding that not to easily shell out money until they have checked with the municipal assessor whether the paper presented to them and the property are legitimate. Beware of syndicates who are selling government land. Your money will just go to waste.
On an article published by inquirer.net, the City Goverment of Taguig also warns their constituents about this.
It has already reported this to the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to ensure the arrest of those behind this illicit activity.
