SMILE I.T. Lab Strengthens Partnership with DICT - CALABARZON Through Courtesy Visit

The SMILE I.T. Lab Section of the Municipal Government of Taytay, Province of Rizal had a courtesy visit with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) - CALABARZON, led by its new Officer-in-Charge Atty. Paolo Carlo P. Murcia, together with their team last February 2, 2026.
The meeting served as a platform to present the SMILE I.T. Lab’s programs and projects for 2026, alongside the Local Government Unit of Taytay’s ongoing ICT initiatives aimed at strengthening digital literacy and expanding access to technology for Taytayeños. It also opened discussions on future collaborations, including workshops and capacity-building activities designed to benefit the community.
During the meeting, both parties reaffirmed their strong partnership and shared commitment to fostering a productive and impactful collaboration in 2026.
Through this concluded meeting, LGU Taytay, Rizal and the SMILE I.T. Lab Section will ensure to strengthen partnerships with our stakeholders, implementing impactful ICT and innovation programs, and bridging the digital divide—especially in unserved and underserved areas of the municipality.
