The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has opened its newest extension office in the municipality, which is the is one of the biggest LTO office in the country, according to LTO Executive Director Romeo de la Cruz.
Opened last Friday, September 4, the spacious and fully air-conditioned facility was specifically designed to make it more convenient for constituents who are processing their driver’s license, while strictly enforcing social distancing measures and minimum health protocols.
Hon. George Ricardo Gacula, Mayor of the Taytay, Rizal municipality said in an interview that this extension office will be convenient for Taytay residents since we no longer have to travel to the next town. He suggested that the LTO to impose a schedule to avoid overcrowding amid the community quarantine.
Executive Director De la Cruz said that this is will become a one-stop office, adding the LTO has already exerted efforts to bring its services closer to the people.
