Since the quarantine measures were imposed in the past months, halting most of the businesses in the community which makes our economy cripple, even the micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) were also affected.
Hon. Kyle Gacula, councilor for Taytay(Rizal) municipality, created this program to help the small and micro businesses reeling from worldwide health and economic crisis. This virtual raffle which was livestreamed thru Facebook social media platform, showcased a wide range of products bought from small and micro businesses from the area, base on ABS-CBN News online's article .
It's goal is to help the jumpstart the town’s economy that was devastated by the quarantine measures imposed across the region to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
Base on official Facebook page of Councilor Kyle Gacula, it says that it was the pilot attempt.
"I know there are some aspects to improve. I know more people wanted to join. We will do it again in a much better fashion. Currently we are still delivering prizes. Di biro mag hatid ng ganito kadaming biyaya ng bahay bahay" Tuloy-tuloy parin po naming susuportahan ang mga #MicroBusiness ng aking kapwa Taytayeños" Coucilor Kyle said on a post on it's official Facebook page.
