Thru the Executive Order No. 14, series of 2020 entitled "Order Placing The Entire Province of Rizal Under A Lockdown In View Of The Corona Virus 2019 (COVID-19) Pandemic", it is officially implemented as signed by the acting Rizal Provincial Governor, Governor Reynaldo San Juan, Jr.

On a statement posted by the Official Facebook Page of the Rizal Provincial Government, it is stated on the EO that starting 8:00 am of April 6, 2020, lockdown will be implemented in all of its borders. This is to further protect the whole province from entering possible carriers of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
Under lockdown implementation, non-residents of the province can no longer enter except the inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Disease (IATF-EID) like public and private health workers, emergency frontliners, government workers, diplomats, media personnel, religious ministers as well as employees who are part of the skeletal workforce of various businesses related to basic services and commodities as well as BPO and hotel industry.

Cargo trucks and vehicles that bring food commodities and farm inputs have the freedom to enter the provincial borders; designated food lanes were put on checkpoints. There will also be an express lane for donations for frontliners and hospitals coming from various sponsors, as well as those who need medical attention. Still any type of public transportation is suspended so local governments are encouraged to continue the use of designated vehicles for frontliners and health workers.
The Provincial Government strictly appeals to the residents of our province to stay at home due to the implementation of 24 hour curfew which previously set by DILG, except for authorized family members who need to buy food and other essential commodities. The aid of various local governments continues to our citizens.
