Last February 21, a memorandum of agreement was signed with the Alaska Milk Corporation and Taytay LGU Officials entitled "AlasKalikasan Wrapper Redemption Project” or “Basura Palit Gatas Program" , which aims to promote proper nutrition. Taytayeños can now trade 1 kilo of flexible plastic in exchange of 1 kilo of Alaska fortified Powdered Milk Drink.

Hon. George Ricardo Gacula II, mayor for Taytay municipality stated that we are so grateful, first and foremost with Alaska Milk Corporation, for choosing the municipality as the first LGU in Rizal province to launch this wonderful project. Environmental sustainability through proper nutrition is the primary aim of the Partnership. Helping to promote our bid for a better nutrition in exchange of saving mother earth.
