Agham na Ramdam sa Bayan ng Taytay

The Municipal Government of Taytay is once again honored as a pioneering partner in the advancement of Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) in the Province of Rizal, as recognized during the recently concluded 10th DOST–Rizal Stakeholders’ Forum.

This annual gathering served as a vital convergence point for government agencies, the academe, industry partners, and people’s organizations—each acknowledged for their meaningful contributions to strengthening the STI ecosystem in the province.

Vice Mayor Jan Victor Cabitac highlighted the immense value of such fora in creating platforms for collaboration and strategic partnerships.

It was through last year’s Stakeholders’ Convergence that LGU Taytay secured key alliances with Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and Department of Science and Technology (DOST), enabling the municipality to take bold strides in innovation and development.

Through the SMILE I.T. Lab – Digital Transformation Center, the Municipal Government of Taytay has been a proud recipient of several DOST initiatives, including the iSTART Program, which positioned Taytay as the first Smart and Sustainable Communities project beneficiary in Rizal. Soon, Taytay will also launch STARBOOKS, a digital science library that will expand access to STI resources for students and young learners across the municipality.

Looking ahead, the potential establishment of an LGU-operated Shared Service Facility (SSF) and the rollout of the Knowledge and Specialized Community and Lifelong Learning Ecosystem Centers (K-SCALE Centers) further places Taytay at the forefront of grassroots innovation—strengthened by robust institutional partnerships and the visionary leadership of Mayor Allan Martine De Leon, MPA.

With unwavering commitment, we will continue advancing Science, Technology, and Innovation across all sectors—ensuring “Agham na Ramdam” and fostering an empowered, future-ready Taytay.
